i need some new shades for the summer and you know me, i’m more a fan of the throwback styles, i’ve worn my dads vintage carreras into the ground, and i love my ray-bans but the wire frames aren’t durable enough for me.
i started poking around on warby parker because you get to try on 5 pairs (in your own house) and then they send a pair to someone in need. look good – do good, works for me!
a few friends and folks from work have ordered them, and it really is fun to try them on and model for friends – maybe i’ll turn it into a ‘shades and wine night’ at my place.
turns out they have a new collection – ocean avenue, it looks very 1970s & 1980s. i’m digging the different colors and patterns.

i mean for under $100 – i should probably just order 10 and keep two!
