i wore: electric blue – top & bottom

dinner in nyc. you don’t need much as far as accessories when you’re wearing bibbed jewels and electric blue.

i wore: engagement evening & bubbly

the title is a giveaway, yes?

good night.

favorite post – i think so.

we laughed. we cried. i kept crying, and in a whirlwind of an afternoon we were engaged yesterday. it happened at a cute little bookstore in soho during our nyc visit for another pal’s wedding.

luckily, i’m an over-packer and brought this long airy lilac dress with me. it was perfect for a champagne toast at gramercy tavern with my boy’s childhood pal….and by toast, i mean a bottle for 3.

origins of the outfit: dress – forever 21, can you believe it? it’s gone, but here’s the evergirl talking about it; arm stack – vintage, randolph street market, and j crew; shoes (you can’t even see) – dolce vita

*side note, if you even care: i plan to stay true to unicorn stylings in that, it won’t become all about weddings, but of course a project and outfit might pop up.

not bad for diy

got these j crew jeans from my sister – i needed white shorts, so i took my shears to them again.

i wore: the ‘official’ LBD

grabbed this dress at express before i left (express?!). again, getting creative with what i packed. i took my pendant off my fav necklaced and pinned it on my dress- my dad said it looked ‘official’, so there you have it = the official lbd of my trip….even though i packed 2.

so sick of flats, but i’m still digging my madewell pythons.
